Help with giving credit to authors in essay…?

So one of my paragraphs is basically filled with lots of statistics and facts that I got from one of my sources. I know I give credit to the author at the end of the sentence. But do I give credit to the same author after each sentence in the paragraph? Doesn't that seem a little too much?

    what you need to do is, when you start the paragraph, provide something such as the following:according to Jones’ research, ……..——————————–… You do not need to put the citiation after each sentence.

    If it has direct ideas or quotations then you should cite during your text. However if his ideas are somewhat general than you can avoid citing. Use your own discretion but its always better to cite than to not.
