I have an essay to do and its on this question and uhh i nedd at least 300 words csn sum1 help me?

is 300 words 2 pages or moreim lost but i have this so far.Why Should America's Veterans Be Honored? Why I think america's veterans should be honored is because they gave their lives for the freedom of others. They risked their lives so you could live with peace and freedom in our country. They also gave a portion of their life to perform civic duties. They risked alot of stuff for me,you, and the country. So they deserve to be honored. Their america's heros! They fought for what they thought was right. They put themselfs on the line for people they didnt even know and for people who didn't even care. Veterans went to war even though knowing that they might not come back. These men and women have voluntarily signed up to do their part to serve our country and do what the rest of us are not willing to do. They are all someone's son, daughter, husband, wife, mother, father, sister or brother. These people fought to free us! imagine if they didnt. Would our life still be the same? i dont think it would be. I wouldnt feel so safe anymore if we didnt have veterans, soldiers, etc. is tht good so far?

I would be appalled if you handed that in. How can you write garbage like “They risked alot of stuff for me..” What does that mean? It shows that you are not thinking about what you are writing. You are just sticking words down. Get rid of cliches like “on the line”. These phrases mean next to nothing. Most troops go to war because that is what their job is. Few if any think about glory or even hallelujah. How could a war in Viet Nam give peace to the USA? Anyway here is a phrase which will go with your essay:” Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori”. It is a sweet and seemly thing to die for your country

Check your punctuation and use a thesaurus. You are being quite repetitive. As far as “the rest of us are not willing to do”, you could say “the rest of us are unable, or, unwilling to do”. You have painted every U. S. citizen with the same negative brush. Your topic is worthy. Your sincerity shows. Just needs some refining.Good work for a young person.

I don’t think it would be. I wouldn’t feel as safe if we didn’t have our soldiers fighting to keep us safe.I fixed it up some. I took out some sentences that I didn’t think needed to be in their, fixed some spelling, grammar, ect. I don’t know what grade you’re in, but you may need to take out anything that is in the first person.

Great subject.Ideas for paragraphs from what you have written. Who they are: America’s Heroes. Brave men and women, Someone’s Sons, Daughters, Husbands, Wives, Mothers Fathers, Sisters and Brothers. Do you have any veteran’s in your family. Add a personal story about them or another veteran you know.Things veterans have done while serving their country. Talk about things like you have in your paragraph:: risking their lives, performing civic duties, being separated from their wives and babies, being injured, losing limbs, watching their buddies die…. The ways they have suffered after serving their country: Trying to live a normal life after fighting at war, Having nightmares and flashbacks, Trying to get a job when they have been disabled….What life would be without them: Lacking in freedom, at danger, You have a lot of feeling in your words. Write some more and then worry about fixing it and organizing it later. Best wishes.
