I have to write a 700 word essay for language arts comparing lord of the flies and maximum ride. Those 2 books are completely different. I have absolutely no idea on how to do it. Please! I need some help!

    you don’t always have to describe what actually happens in the books for language arts. you could compare how the authors compare emotion (e.g do they make the characters swear, do they use detailed description of emotions etc.) you could compare the era’s of writing they use (e.g does one write in victorian language and one in modern slang?) for a part of my english media GCSE i had to compare Romeo and Juliette to some poems so i know how hard it is (one poem was pratically all swearing and Romeo and Juliette is..well…you know)you could compare about how the characters react to situations. REMEMBER – comparing doesn’t always mean finding things the books have in common.hope this helps :)
